Research

You’ve come to a crossroads in your life.  You have a major decision to make.  You can choose your path:  the one up the mountain, or the one floating down the river.  Both will have life long results for yourself and for your family.

You can hop in the raft or boat and lazily float down the river.  You might watch those women headed to their path to the mountain peak and think they may be crazy to undergo such a feat.  Why not just relax through it and let the easy way takes its course?  Why would anyone choose the difficult path?

There is no real reward without a struggle

I don’t know if you’ve ever climbed a mountain and come to the peak of it.  I have many times, and it’s one of the most awesome things you can do.  The benefits are too many to count.  But we all know there are a great many and that they’re worth it.  It is the very same with giving birth naturally.  The health benefits for your baby and even for you are insurmountable in comparison to giving birth with pain relieving drugs or having an elected c-section.

But making that choice for yourself HAS to be done on your own terms.  It seems when anyone young woman is pregnant, everyone around them suddenly has to chime in and give their opinion or persuade them a certain way.  Your mother says one thing and your mother-in-law says another.  Your sisters try to make sure you’re doing the “right” things, and they very well may not be good things at all.

If you even have an inkling of wanting to birth your baby naturally (which is why you’re here) your decision must be based on of facts, not opinions.

Facts are TRUTHS, and truths do not change

If you want to be truthful to yourself and to your unborn child, please do all you can to learn about natural childbirth for yourself.  What you can learn here is what you’ll need to continue on this journey.  You are a smart person.

You are right. The natural birth is boosting health of baby and somehow teaches first steps of self defense, when painkillers might get baby less energetic at the time of birth.

Hi Lela. Epidurals and other drugs absolutely make a newborn baby lethargic because the drugs are running rampant through them during their birth.

I remember my nurses just in awe with my first baby because he was so alert immediately after his birth. And I was tempted to ask them if they’d ever seen a normal newborn before. It was sad in a way because they had come to expect such else in their day to day work.

Thanks Diana. That’s what I hope to help mothers with this site so that they can find all they need upfront to make an informed decision.

When we’re at the doctor for ourselves, we often ask about the risks involved with certain procedures or drugs our doctor has recommended for us. But we don’t stop and think about the same things for our babies. That mindset has to change.

I am happy to see that you are educating young mothers about the dangers of child birth giving them the ability to make a wise decision. I prefer natural over medically induced surgery so I wish you success in educating the mothers to be.

I am happy to see your website promoting the birth of your baby, and doing it naturally. Too many modern day solutions interfere to the natural form of giving birth.Thank you for educating with informative procedures.

I really like your post. I think that the path to actually doing research for a product or decision is something that far too many individuals leave till “the last minute”.
Very insightful information you have here, Sarah.

    • Sarah says:

A lot of wasted time would certainly diminish if people did their research up front, point taken exactly Norm.

That’s why I try to do reviews for things so others don’t have the spend the extra time as well. See reputable Birth Courses, Earth Mama Angel Baby personal products and much more in the Reviews tab.
